Safap participates in a working group to promote the labor formality of footballers

A representative of the Association of Professional Soccer Players of Peru (SAFAP) will participate in the 'Work Table for the formality of professional football players, a group formed by the government of Peru through the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion.

This work table has been created with the aim of coordinating, articulating and implementing the proposals of the different actors involved in compliance with the rules to reduce labor informality in professional football.

The 'Working table for the formality of work of professional footballers' will consist of: a representative of the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, who chairs it, a representative of the Directorate General of Labor Inspection Policies, a representative of the General Office of Legal Advice, a representative of the Association of Professional Soccer Players of Peru, a representative of the Professional Football Association of Sports (ADFP), and a representative of the Professional Football Association of Second Division (ADFO-SD).

Each member of the referred table must have a representative and may have an alternate, which will be accredited to the Technical Secretariat of the working group.

The functions of the mentioned work table are: to elaborate a plan of activities for the fulfillment of the object of the working group, to issue reports of the progress and results of its plan of activities and others that are considered necessary for the fulfillment of its objective .

To fulfill its functions, the aforementioned working group may invite representatives of other Peruvian public or private institutions to participate in order to obtain contributions and support.
